First of all, the crossing of the Plaine des Cafres going up in gentle slope to more than 1600m of altitude from where you will obtain an exceptional view on all the southern coast. With the richness of its agricultural world, this district of Le Tampon has an authenticity that you can easily feel when you look at its pastures and its fields as far as the eye can see.

On the road leading to the volcano, a stop at the Belvédère du Nez de boeuf, which offers a superb view of the Remparts river, is a must. The Segway ride will start a little further by the discovery of the lunar landscape of the Pas des Sables, composed of red and ochre colored scoria and flowering plants endemic to Reunion Island.

The most watched jewel of the Indian Ocean will finally be revealed from the Piton de Bert. The Segway adventure starts in the invigorating coolness and an enigmatic atmosphere that will follow you along the ramparts to the viewpoint of the Piton de la Fournaise.
