What are Mobilboard La Rochelle's opening hours?
1 - Low season (after the All Saints' holiday to the beginning of the Easter vacation) :
Mobilboard is open Tuesday to Saturday from 10am to 12:30pm and from 2pm to 6:30pm.
2 - High season (from Easter to All Saints' Day) :
Mobilboard is open Monday to Sunday from 10am to 12:30pm and from 2:30pm to 7pm.

What different means of transport are available for activities?
Mobilboard offers activities centered around the concept of sustainable transportation.
Mobilboard’s core mission is to offer activities featuring the famous Segway, which provides a unique and unusual experience.
For groups of more than 15 participants, our activities are conducted in a “mixed” format, meaning a combination of Segway and bike (either traditional or electric, depending on your preference).

What category do Segways belong to?
The Segway falls under the category of personal motorized mobility devices (PMDs), which are governed by the Highway Code.

Are there any terms of use for riding a Segway?
The Segway falls under the category of personal motorized mobility devices (PMDs), which are governed by the Highway Code.
You must therefore be at least 14 years old to use a Segway— or visit for regulations on PMVs here
To ride a Segway, the manufacturer specifies that the user’s weight must be between a minimum of 45 kg and a maximum of 120 kg.
Use of the Segway is not recommended for pregnant women or people with inner ear problems.
Do you need balance to ride a Gyropod?
What makes the Segway unique is that it is self-stabilizing.
In fact, the Segway’s balance is maintained by five gyroscopic sensors and two computers that stabilize the Segway.
Contrary to what one might think , operating the Segway is not a matter ofbalance .
Learning to ride the Segway is easy and within the reach of the vast majority of people. Just a few minutes of instruction are enough to understand how it works.
