A little history

Alain Maroulle manages with talent and generosity the 33 hectares of the Domaine du Barry, property acquired by his great-grandfather in the 1920s.
Since 2010, the agriculture is organic.
On the road from Vaour to Gaillac, the first vines that announce the thousand-year-old vineyard of Gaillac belong to the Domaine du Barry.
18 km north of Gaillac, the vines are climbing the hillsides with a superb sun exposure.
They offer an almost infinite view on 360 degrees.

Nature and soil of the vines you will cross

The vines grow on clay-limestone and stony soils which give high quality wines.
Red grape varieties: Braucol, Duras, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Syrah.
White grape varieties: Loin de l'oeil.

Your experience

After a 10 to 15 minute initiation with your instructor on the use of your Segway gyropod, you will leave to discover the vineyards of the Domaine du Barry, we will take a path that goes up and joins the first vines, the path will condition you to the driving of your gyropod, the walk will be hilly throughout the course, which is largely in the vineyards, You will have the pleasure to take pictures of the place, an impression of dominating the world will be felt, you will see in the distance the village of Corde which imperatively asks to be visited, the calm and the serenity accompany you during this buccolic walk which will bring us back quietly towards the domain where you will be able to appreciate a tasting of wines of the property.
