What's the situation?
Flat tire or fall
Punctures are caused by road conditions or an object on the road. They cannot be attributed to the rental company and remain the responsibility of the customer.
Mechanical breakdown
If the breakdown is related to the bike itself (derailleur, brake, frame, etc.), it is our responsibility. Please contact us immediately.
Puncture: use the puncture-proof spray
-
Locate the anti-puncture spray attached to your bike.
-
Unscrew the valve cap from the punctured tire, then screw on the cap firmly.
- Empty the can completely into the tire, holding the pressure all the way - don't let go until the can is completely empty.
- Drive slowly for a few meters to distribute the product throughout the inner tube.
The puncture-proofing spray is not a miracle solution: if the wheel is badly damaged (major tear, object still stuck in the tire, etc.), the spray may not be enough. In this case, don't bother - just move on to the next steps.
If the bomb on your bike doesn't work, try the bomb on another bike in the group - they're interchangeable. Each bike is equipped with one.
Even if you succeed, the bomb is a temporary solution. Avoid exceeding 15 km/h after use, and report the incident to us on your return.

Getting home by bus and securing your bike
Buses cannot carry bicycles, so it's essential to secure your bike in place before boarding the bus.
Before taking the bus :
-
Attach the bike to a fixed element (post, bike rack) with the padlock supplied.
-
Always loop the lock cable around the frame of the bike, not around a wheel - a wheel can come off easily and the bike will be stolen. Always attach the lock to the frame, never to the wheel! A wheel can come off in seconds - only the frame guarantees that the bike remains attached to the element to which you've attached it.
- Take a photo of the locked bike and send it to us by WhatsApp with your exact location.
- Keep the lock key and bring it back to the agency. Without it, we can't get the bike back.
