The walk begins on the famous Promenade des Anglais, heading west. You’ll walk along the Mediterranean Sea and pass one of Nice’s most iconic landmarks: the Hôtel Negresco, a legendary luxury hotel dating back to 1913 and a symbol of luxury on the French Riviera.
Along the way, just beforethe Nice airport, you’ll catch a glimpse of Phoenix Park, a vast botanical and wildlife garden and a true oasis of greenery. You’ll then pass through Saint-Laurent-du-Var and then Cagnes-sur-Mer, enjoying the Côte d’Azur’s beaches and seaside scenery all along the way.
The route takes you to the spectacular Marina Baie des Anges, recognizable by its impressive pyramid-shaped structures overlooking the sea.
Once you arrive in Antibes, you’ll drive around Fort Carré, a 16th-century fortress offering a remarkable view of the harbor. You’ll then discover Port Vauban and its famous “billionaires’ quay,” where some of the world’s largest yachts are moored.
Finally, you’ll enter the old town of Antibes, surrounded by imposing ramparts. Inside, you’ll discover a superb Provençal market, charming narrow streets, and the famous Picasso Museum.
You’ll have free time to enjoy lunch overlooking the sea, stroll through the streets of Old Antibes, or simply soak up the Mediterranean atmosphere before heading back.
