Discover Nice by Segway during this 1-hour and a half tour in the heart of the city and its surroundings !
Departure at 09h30 sharp ! The tour starts on the Promenade des Anglais where your guide will teach you how to ride a Segway. Once you feel comfortable on your gyropod, admire the Opera House of Nice from the Quay of the United States before entering the historic center of the city. Follow your guide through the narrow shady streets of Old Nice and learn some interesting facts about places and monuments you pass by.
Continue your tour in the modern part of the city at the foot of the Modern Art Museum, then go till the impressive ""Square Head"", a 30-metre tall habitable sculpture.
Finish your tour by riding through the "Promenade du Paillon", a large public garden offering a lot of green relaxing areas, playgrounds and water jets.

The Promenade des Anglais
After the initiation given by your guide, you will drive on the most famous avenue of Nice!The one that was a stony and muddy path in the early nineteenth century has nothing to do today and will offer you a pleasure of sliding along the sea incomparable!

Halfway along the Cours Saleya stands the Palace of the Dukes of Savoy, or "Sardinian Palace". Imposing residence of the sovereigns of the State of Savoy during the visits of the Dukes to the County of Nice, it houses since 1860 the headquarters of the prefecture of the Alpes-Maritimes.
Palais de Justice Square
This is where the courthouse stands. This neo-classical building built in the late 19th century faces the Rusca Palace, former military barracks and now annex of the Palace of Justice, and the clock tower.
With no assembly point in the old town, it was Charles Rossetti of Châteauneuf who bequeathed to the city in the nineteenth century the land on which his building was built so that it was demolished, thus offering the inhabitants of Nice a real point of ventilation!
