The tour begins with the historic district of La Rochelle. You’ll see the ramparts at the Porte Dauphine, followed by Place de Verdun and Saint-Louis Cathedral. You’ll then stroll through the city’s characteristic narrow streets to reach La Rochelle’s magnificent City Hall—the oldest in France still in use. Your guide will introduce you to the must-see sites and monuments of La Rochelle’s heritage before heading to the Old Port.

You’ll then explore La Rochelle’s stunning waterfront, starting with the Old Port and its famous towers. The Saint-Nicolas Tower, the Chaîne Tower, and the Lanterne Tower. Next, you’ll take a stroll through the Gabut neighborhood at the foot of the Saint-Nicolas Tower and along the Old Port channel, with splendid views of this thousand-year-old city.
