Are you an individual looking to rent a Segway or buy a Segway personal transporter, and do you need to learn how to use it?

I’ll save you a lot of time spent riding recklessly and dangerously—for your own safety and that of others—by offering personalized training to help you adopt safe riding practices and safely maximize your Segway’s potential. I’ll also teach you the rules of etiquette for interacting with other users of public spaces and the key principles for appropriate behavior while riding your Segway.

Would you like to use one or more Segways as part of your professional activities?

I’ll come directly to your location to train you and your employees who use Segways, tailoring the training to the specific areas where they’ll be used. This will ensure everyone can use the Segway to its fullest potential.

Whether you’re an individual or a business, upon completion of the theoretical and practical training, passing a test on various technical exercises will earn you a Segway user certification (Segway® Advanced User) and allow you to ride the rented Segway on your own.

My name is Xavier; I’m a “Segway® Certified Instructor” and the company’s manager.

Several years ago, I discovered the Segway while on vacation in Brittany...Naturally, with some thirty years of experience as an adult education specialist and in sharing knowledge across various fields, I immediately saw how I could combine my expertise with this recreational activity and help as many people as possible discover the Segway’s potential...

So, beyond sharing stories about the places we’ll visit and other tourist tips to help you make the most of your stay in Lot-et-Garonne, I’ll guide you as you ride the Segway on different types of terrain and in various environments. And one thing’s for sure: you’ll be amazed at what you’ll be able to do on a Segway right from the very first hour!

A few words to introduce myself: “As acertified sportsinstructor, I served for several years as the assistant manager of a facility for a large sports and recreation organization. I now work with team-building groups as a contractor for various companies in the industry, including Mobilboard with Xavier.”

Any anecdotes or comments about the Segway?: “ Riding a Segway is very easy and quickly gets exciting… but you have to stay focused because the real danger is getting overconfident too quickly!”

Lucas:

A few words to introduce yourself: “ I hold a state-certified sports instructor license, and I’ve been leading groups of teens and adults for several years, particularly in off-road scooter and Segway activities, so I look forward to seeing you!”

Any anecdotes or comments about the Segway? “ My first experience with the Segway dates back to 2023, when I was leading groups of teens with Xavier for a recreation center. And despite the weather conditions and the state of the terrain, I can confirm that riding it is just as much fun as it is in good weather!"

Marine:

This appeal makes it very easy to connect with people and raise awareness for the company I’m representing at the time!

"Rest assured, if you follow the instructions during the activities, you’ll realize that you’re actually much safer on a Segway than on a ‘simple’ electric scooter!

In fact, unlike a scooter, where you need a certain amount of speed to maintain your balance—just like on a bike, for that matter—with a Segway, the machine itself maintains constant balance…even when you’re stopped! To see for yourself: just think back to how long it took you as a child to learn to ride a bike, whereas after just a few minutes of instruction, you can head out for a ride on a Segway!"
